I wanted something subtle for my first permanent tattoo (I’ve gotten a lip tattoo before but those usually fade). It’s hidden from everyone else, but once in awhile, it peeks out and really gets your attention. Anytime, I get emotional, I look at the tattoo, and ironically, it calms me a down a bit. Sort of like a inner-strength symbol for me.
